I-just-set-a-new-world-record-selfie.
The photo below shows how happy I was after a 251.255 mph (404 km/h) run at the Bonneville Salt Flats with KillaJoule on pure battery power at Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials on August 30, 2016. The final world record became 248.721 mph (400.278 km/h). That made it the world’s fastest electric motorcycle, the world’s fastest sidecar motorcycle, and the fastest world record for a female motorcycle rider. Within a couple of years, someone else beat my records for fastest sidecar and fastest female, but the record for the fastest electric motorcycle was standing until the end of 2021. I am determined to take back all the records; that’s why the Green Envy was built!
KillaJoule and Eva Hakansson land speed records
KillaJoule was until very recently the world’s fastest electric motorcycle with an official speed record of 248.721 mph (400.278 km/h) in the flying kilometer (FIM record August 2016) and a registered top speed of 270.224 mph (434.9 km/h).
The 248.721 mph record beat all the previous national and international speed records for electric motorcycles. This record is also still the fastest FIM world speed record ever for a female motorcycle rider (although Valerie Thompson holds a national Australian record that exceeds my record).
I hold 15 official national and international speed records with the KillaJoule, and one Guinness World Record. The plan is to set many more with the Green Envy in the coming years. 😀
